ArchiCheck AI is Now DBA Kestrel Labs

May 2025 we’re officially rebranding from ArchiCheck AI to Kestrel Labs.

You’ll start seeing the new brand across our decks, email addresses, and soon, our updated website. It’s still the same team, same product direction, and same mission: helping architects automate building code compliance inside the design workflow.

Why the name change?

As we’ve grown, it became clear that ArchiCheck AI no longer fully captured the scope, or ambition, of what we’re building. We’re expanding our engineering capacity, securing investment, and beggining active testing with firms across real projects. The platform is evolving, and the name needed to evolve with it.

Kestrel Labs reflects that growth.

Why Kestrel?

Kestrels are small falcons known for their precision and ability to hover midair while scanning the landscape. That’s how we think about code compliance: stay close to the model, stay fast, and maintain perspective.

We’re not building another checklist or add-on. We’re building something foundational—a way for architects to get real-time compliance feedback across all phases of design and documentation.

Why Labs?

Because we’re not repackaging generic AI. We’re building from the ground up:

• Native Revit + BIM integration

• And tools that work the way architects actually work
